VIU info session for employees who have children looking at post-secondary education

Are you a Vancouver Island University employee? Have a child who is ready to look at their post-secondary education options?

If so, join VIU Recruitment Officer Dylan Ewen for a lunchtime information session to learn how to support your child in becoming a VIU student. Feel free to bring your prospective student along! Take-home materials will be provided. Lunch not included.

I work here already, why should I attend?

Dylan will provide you with in-depth information about VIU programs, scholarships, awards and bursaries and other funding sources, the application process, and admission requirements. He will also answer any questions you or your child have.

When?

Wednesday January 30th 12:30 -1:30pm Building 180 room 134

Can my child attend?

Yes, if they are able to. It is not critical.

Why will you benefit?

You will have all your own questions answered and be able to share important information with your child about VIU so, together, you can make the best post-secondary education decision for your child. Working here is a great start to understanding what a VIU education means, and Dylan will provide context for your child. You will also receive materials with date and process reminders so when it comes to submit that application, it is painless.
